Acceptable Use Policy

Soviic is built for small businesses doing legitimate operational work. This policy defines clearly what that means and what it doesn't. It supplements our Terms of Service.
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all users of the Soviic platform, including the website and web application, APIs, integrations, and related services provided by CyberSentinel Services LLC (DBA: Soviic). Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of this policy.
2. Permitted Uses

- Connecting approved third-party tools
- Internal team notifications
- Customer communication workflows
- Scheduling and calendar automation
- Invoice and payment workflows
- Form and data capture automation
- Employee onboarding processes
- Project handoff automation
- Operational task management
Not Permitted
- Spam or unsolicited messaging
- Phishing or fraudulent workflows
- Data harvesting without consent
- Bypassing third-party rate limits
- Illegal data processing
- Reselling platform access
- Competitive intelligence scraping
- Credential stuffing attacks
- Cryptocurrency mining
- CSAM or harmful content
3. Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension.
3.1 Illegal and Harmful Activities
- Violating any applicable law or regulation.
- Facilitating fraud, identity theft, financial crimes, or money laundering.
- Processing, storing, or transmitting child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Threatening, harassing, or stalking any person.
- Violating third-party privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights.
3.2 Security Violations
- Unauthorized access attempts against any system or account.
- Penetration testing or vulnerability scanning against Soviic infrastructure without written permission.
- Introducing malware, viruses, or ransomware.
- Circumventing authentication, access controls, or rate limiting.
- Exploiting vulnerabilities for any purpose.
Responsible Disclosure — If you discover a security vulnerability in Soviic, please report it responsibly to hello@soviic.com rather than exploiting or disclosing it publicly. We take all security reports seriously and will respond within 72 hours.
3.3 Abuse of Service Infrastructure
- Sending unsolicited bulk communications via connected integrations.
- Workflows deliberately generating excessive API calls.
- Bypassing rate limits or quotas.
- Cryptocurrency mining or resource-intensive processes unrelated to workflow automation.
- Storing or processing data volumes materially exceeding plan limits without upgrading.
3.4 Misrepresentation and Fraud
- Using false identities or creating accounts on behalf of others without authorization.
- Impersonating Soviic, CyberSentinel Services LLC, or any third party.
- Misrepresenting your intended use of the Service.
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or enforcement actions.
3.5 Integration Misuse
- Using integrations (Gmail, Slack, etc.) in ways that violate those services' terms.
- Harvesting personal data from connected accounts without consent.
- Using OAuth tokens outside the authorized workflow scope.
- Automating actions that would violate third-party acceptable use policies.
4. Data Handling Requirements
Users processing other people's personal data through Soviic must:
- Have a lawful basis for processing under applicable privacy law.
- Obtain all necessary consents.
- Not process Special Categories of personal data (health, biometric, financial credentials) without appropriate safeguards and legal authority.
- Comply with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or other applicable regulations.
- Notify hello@soviic.com if a workflow may have inadvertently exposed personal data.
HIPAA Note — Soviic is not currently HIPAA-certified. If your workflows may involve Protected Health Information (PHI), do not process that data through Soviic until we have established a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). Contact hello@soviic.com to discuss.
5. AI Feature Usage
- Do not use AI features to generate content that violates this AUP or any law.
- Do not attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or extract training data from AI features.
- AI output must be reviewed by a human before being used to make decisions affecting others.
- Do not represent AI-generated content as original work when accuracy matters professionally.
- AI features are not a substitute for professional advice.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of a violation of this policy — including general violations, security incidents, or privacy concerns — report it to hello@soviic.com. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action, which may include a warning, suspension, or termination.
7. Enforcement
Violations may result in:
- A warning and request to correct the behavior.
- Temporary suspension of the account.
- Permanent termination without refund.
- Reporting to law enforcement where required.
- Legal action to recover damages.
We determine violations in our sole discretion, aiming for consistent and fair application, and we will explain our reasoning when taking enforcement action.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP as the platform evolves. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
